Celebrating the successful defense of Prakhar’s PhD dissertation!
We congratulate Prakhar to his successful PhD defense of his dissertation “Behind the distribution transformer: Real-world data-driven case studies of the energy transition”. In his thesis, Prakhar generated actionable recommendations for distribution system operators to estimate and avoid distribution transformer overloading due to solar pholtaic generation exports and electric vehicle (EV) charging demand, and conversely, estimate the potential of EVs as a resource for grid support.
